1. Please use proper English. There is no excuse for being a lazy typist! You are expected to use capitalisation, correct spelling, and punctuation to the best of your ability (i.e., no "txt" talk, 1337 speak, etc.). We won't be total Grammar Nazis, but please show effort.

2. Post with purpose. Have an opinion? Back it up! Have a question? Give us information! When posting, give us something to talk about!

As a rule of thumb, please note that small posts -including, but not limited to: "LOL," "That's cool," or "Yeah"- are not good replies. These sort of posts are considered spam, and no one likes spam!

3. Be polite! Flaming or insulting other members is not tolerated whatsoever!

4. Keep things clean (and legal!). Please do not post offensive or vulgar material, and please keep swearing to a minimum.

Additionally, please do not give links to ROMs, emulators, "cracked" software, or anything related, you scurvy dogs.

5. Never hover over a green underlined word. It is an advertisement which soon will be removed.

6. Keep your signature small and stylish! If you have to scroll to get past your signature it's WAY too big. Keep them small, please.

Last but not least, have fun! All that we ask is that you be a decent person and put some thought into your posts. We're a pretty fun group and want you to enjoy the forum as much as we do!

CONSEQUENCES:
In the unfortunate circumstance that a member breaks any of the rules above, the following will happen-

1st OFFENCE- A friendly reminder from a moderator.
2nd OFFENCE- A warning from a moderator.
3rd OFFENCE- Another warning from a moderator.
4th OFFENCE- The member is banned.

Please be aware that posting explicit or illegal content (as defined above) will lead to an automatic, permanent ban.

Also note that depending on the severity of the rule, there are exceptions to the punishment.


REPORT SYSTEM:
If you see someone breaking the rules, you are encouraged to use the report system to notify a staff member.
